PowerNews/PCB v2.50 Cory Wright, TRC Development January 2, 1991
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
┌──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┐
│ Version 2.50's news files are not downward compatible! │
├──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┤
│ This version will not work with any news files created with │
│ previous versions of the code! You must delete all of your │
│ old bulletin files. This is very important, because several │
│ of the features in this version will not work with the │
│ old format! │
└──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────┘
* Help is now available at the main menu by pressing F1. This will give
you a summary of commands.
* The (D) option changed so that individual bulletins are able to be
deleted. Your pre-2.10ß news files created with all prior versions of
this software are obselete. You will need to delete them and start
over. My suggestion is to import the ASCII file into a new bulletin,
or simply start over -- most folks' news screens are old anyway.
- The new format allows many new possibilities, like individual
deletion that is operative in this beta version. The 'banner' at
the top of each news file has been replaced with a more subtle
mark on the heading of each bulletin.
* Opening screen now unfolds one of two ways for variety. Colors on the
opening screen have been restricted so the sparkling effect works
better.
* Rearranged instructions on (V)iewing screen
* Removed delay at end from unregistered version
* Editor now rebuilds ANSI files after you've edited the ASCII file.
This way, you need only edit the ASCII file to make the changes in the
ANSI.
* (F)ill character added to (S)etup menu. The character you enter here
will comprised the background.
* Many, many more changes have been made. Please let me know what you
think about them.

PowerNews/PCB v2.01 by Cory Wright, TRC Development August 19, 1990
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
* Fixed a bug in the (I)mport Text option from the (A)dd menu. Text
should now correctly import into the editor.
* Fixed a bug dealing with null screens. If one was to press escape
without entering text, PowerNews/PCB would abort with error 5. Fixed.
* Added "Install CRC" description to the main menu for Setup to indicate
that Setup is the place to install your Registration line and CRC.
* Added "or ()'ed" for those using monochrome screens who could not
navigate through Setup. Add ()'s around as many options as possible
except the "Yes, No, Continue" prompt when saving a news screen.
* When you register PowerNews/PCB and order a disk, you can declare that
you want the current version or the next version released on your
disk. Those choosing to get the next version will have it shipped to
them when it is released, along with a letter they may mail back to
get the next version when it is released.
